Eagles Get Good News on Miles Sanders & Alshon Jeffery Injury Update
By Max Staley

The Philadelphia Eagles' offense has been shorthanded essentially all season, but it appears that unit is finally starting to get healthy. Stars Miles Sanders and Alshon Jeffery are reportedly trending in the right direction, and they're both expected to be back at practice next week following the team's Week 9 bye.
The #Browns aren’t the only team with reinforcements on the way. Source said the #Eagles will have RB Miles Sanders (knee) back at practice after the bye weekend, and WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) should be a full participant. Getting healthy at the right time. https://t.co/XTmT1zfuWI

This news is obviously huge for Eagles fans. Sanders hasn't played since Week 6, when he tweaked his knee against the Baltimore Ravens. In his five appearances on the year, Sanders was turning 14.2 carries into 86.8 rushing yards per game, adding another 2.4 catches for 18.2 yards per outing. His presence will be huge for the Eagles' offense.
Jeffery, meanwhile, has yet to play this season. Assuming he's on track to play in Week 10, his role might not be as big as fans were expecting coming into the season due to the emergence of Travis Fulgham. Still, it'll be great to have the big-bodied wideout back, as he should instantly improve this red zone offense.
Philadelphia is currently a 3-point favorite over the New York Giants in Week 10, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL betting odds.
