DeSean Jackson Injury Update Improves Alshon Jeffery Fantasy Outlook
By Max Staley

The Philadelphia Eagles have to deal with yet another devastating injury. First-round rookie Jalen Reagor has been placed on IR, Dallas Goedert is now set to miss an extended period of time, and now DeSean Jackson is hobbled as well.
Given all the injuries the team is dealing with, it's fair to expect Alshon Jeffery to handle a ton of volume, assuming he can get back on the field in Week 4.
DeSean Jackson will not practice today, Pederson says. He’s day to day. Alshon Jeffery will see an increased workload this week.

Alshon Jeffery Fantasy Football Outlook
Jeffery is reportedly trending in the right direction, and it looks as if he'll be making his season debut on Sunday. He has a chance to become a fantasy factor right away, though, as he shouldn't face much competition for targets from anyone other than Zach Ertz.
He's likely going to be too risky to start, however. We haven't seen him since Week 14 so there's no way to know how effective he'll be. And the matchup against the the San Francisco 49ers, a top-five defense in Football Outsiders DVOA metrics, certainly won't help matters much.
Jeffery is a name to pick up and stash on the waiver wire, but it's probably too risky to play him (assuming he's active). If he's not active, then Greg Ward (11 targets in Week 3) becomes a possible sleeper option.
