Brewers Being Disrespected by Odds to Win 2020 World Series

The Milwaukee Brewers currently have the worst odds to win the World Series of any team left in the postseason. At +3800, they're bringing up the rear alongside the Toronto Blue Jays, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

But those odds don't do a good job of capturing just how talented this team really is.

The Brewers' pitching staff is elite. Milwaukee's pitchers collectively had the 11th-best ERA (4.16) in the MLB this season, though that doesn't tell the whole story. Milwaukee actually had the league's second-best expected fielding-independent pitching mark (3.75). The Brewers were just .02 off the league's best figure.

That elite arm talent is going to make Milwaukee really difficult to beat in a postseason series.

The Brewers have a much better shot at shocking the world with a 2020 World Series title than their odds would lead you to believe.
