Just when it seems like things can't get any better for the New England Patriots, we get this news.
Odell Beckham Jr. left an interesting comment on Tom Brady's Instagram, which certainly gives credence to the idea that Beckham is potentially looking for a trade and is interested in the Pats.
After Brady posted this photo.
Beckham made this comment.
So this happened tonight. Crazier things have happened. If the #Giants want to trade Odell, the #Patriots make a lot of sense. His contract is very team friendly. Belichick has a good relationship with the Giants. pic.twitter.com/8HYC1d1EtD— Evan Lazar (@ezlazar) February 17, 2019
While this may seem unrealistic at first, this trade actually makes more sense than you might think. For one, the Patriots need help at wide receiver, as Chris Hogan, Phillip Dorsett and Cordarelle Patterson are all free agents this offseason. Consequently, the Patriots have also been linked to Antonio Brown.
Furthermore, this is not the first time Beckham left an intriguing comment on Brady's Instagram.

While Odell Beckham has a massive contract, the Patriots have the room to absorb it, as they currently have over $15 million in cap space with more to come after a few players are off their books. New England is also flushed with extra draft picks, which could help facilitate a deal.
All in all, only time will tell whether or not this mysterious Instagram comment leads to anything. But when it comes to the Patriots, it's impossible to rule anything out.
