2022 The Masters Fantasy Golf Value Picks & Sleepers on FanDuel

The 2022 Masters is set to tee off on Thursday, April 4th at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. With the most elite field of the season thus far, the Masters is sure to deliver some exceptional golf.
2022 The Masters Fantasy Value Picks
While we have already gone over the odds, fantasy picks and dark horse winners, let's take a look at some players to consider for the back half of your fantasy lineups. Here are three value picks and sleepers to consider at the 2022 Masters.
2022 The Masters Sleepers
Louis Oosthuizen Fantasy
Louis Oosthuizen has been knocking on the door at Augusta before, and seemingly at every major on tour for a while, although he's never actually won. That could change this season. He has six runner-up finishes at majors in his career, including one at Augusta in 2012. Oosthuizen is on a run of eight consecutive cuts made at The Masters and has three top-20 finishes in those eight years. While he has also made the cut in his last five starts on tour this season, he only has one top-20 finish. However, we usually see a different Louis in majors, and his game suits Augusta well. Even if he's not the one wearing the green jacket on Sunday, it would be no surprise to see him in contention on Sunday.
Tony Finau Fantasy
Tony Finau, like Oosthuizen, has seen his fair share of success at the majors, but has never hoisted a trophy at one. And Augusta is no different. Finau has played in The Masters four times, and he has three top-10 finishes, including a top-5 finish in 2019. He knows this course and plays it well. He is struggling a bit coming into the event this year, only grabbing one top-30 finish in his last four starts, but that shouldn't have you shying away from Finau at this number.
Justin Rose Fantasy
The trend continues with Justin Rose here. He isn't exactly playing the best golf coming into the event but did bounce back with a T-26 last week after back-to-back missed cuts prior to that. And when it comes to resume at Augusta National, Rose ranks among the best of players who have never won it. Rose has entered the Masters 16 times in his career. He's placed top-20 10 times, top-10 six times and he's even finished as the runner-up twice. Rose even held the lead after Round 1 last year. Rose is a pro's pro, consistent ball striker with a great short game, and that's shined through at Augusta in the past. Grabbing someone with this much past success both on and off Augusta, at this number, he has to be in your consideration set.
Tiger Woods Fantasy
There have been very few points in his career where Tiger Woods could come anywhere close to qualifying as a "sleeper" at a golf tournament, but after making a miraculous recovery from a car accident in January 2021 that nearly ended his career, this is one of those points. So he gets an honorable mention here. Heck, some even considered him a dark horse when he won it in 2019, though his odds and price were much shorter than they are this year. Tiger said on Tuesday he won't play if he doesn't think he can win, and said he expects to play. While him winning the green jacket would probably be the most impressive feat in the history of golf (without exaggeration) considering the place he's coming from, a solid outing from Tiger very well could be in the cards. He still knows this course better than anyone on tour and is still the most mentally strong player on tour. It will all be about how his body holds up walking the course, according to him. His ball striking and swing are both apparently in a great place, if he can avoid mistakes on the greens and all goes well with his body, Tiger could be, well, Tiger.
