Seattle Seahawks Draft Ohio State WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba 20th Overall
Ohio State has been churning out some high-level wide receiver prospects in recent seasons.
The newest standout is Jaxon Smith-Njigba, whom the Seattle Seahawks selected as the first overall receiver in the draft with the 20th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL Draft odds had Smith-Njigba as a -350 favorite to be the first receiver drafted as of Thursday morning.

Anyone who can contend with -- and even outperform -- Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave deserves some attention, and Smith-Njigba did that at times at Ohio State.

Smith-Njigba is far from the biggest receiver in the NFL, but he'll be a great fit in Seattle.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba in Seattle
With D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett on the outside, Smith-Njigba should be freed up to post big numbers as a rookie while operating mostly out of the slot.
Stylistically, Smith-Njigba to Seattle is a great fit, and he'll undoubtedly start to garner fantasy football hype sooner rather than later based on the landing spot.
Seattle Seahawks 2023 Outlook
FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds give the Seahawks a win total of 8.5 with -114 odds on the over, and they're firmly a midrange contender with +4500 Super Bowl odds.
