Cardinals select Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. fourth overall
With the fourth pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. out of Ohio State.
What It Means
Harrison has looked NFL-ready since his breakout 2022 sophomore campaign, during which he caught 77 passes for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns from future NFL stud C.J. Stroud. Even with a downgrade at quarterback in 2023, he still dominated the Buckeyes' receiving opportunities while racking up another 67 grabs for 1,211 yards and 14 more scores.
He'll now take his talents to the desert, where he'll have an immediate opportunity to establish himself as the Cardinals' WR1. Arizona moved on from both Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore -- who combined for 163 targets in 2023 -- this offseason, meaning Harrison could be queued up for a major workload as early as Week 1.
