Colts' Anthony Richardson working on "Brock Purdy" throws

Richardson showed some exciting promise during his first four NFL games, but suffered a season-ending injury that cut short his debut campaign. He has been throwing privately this offseason and is now expected to participate in the Colts' offseason program. It would be an encouraging sign to see him return to the field and put in a full offseason of training.

According to his private quarterback coach, Richardson has expressed a desire to work on "Brock Purdy throws over the middle" -- the kinds of throws the San Francisco 49ers have been using to generate supremely efficient offenses for the last 7 years. Adding those types of throws to his arsenal could have massive implications for Richardson (and his receivers) in fantasy football in 2024.
