The NFL doesn’t end with the 1:00 ET slate of games. The NFL's late-afternoon Sunday slate offers a smaller group of games, but that does not mean there is a shortage of appealing betting opportunities.

Using our NFL projections as a guide, here are some NFL player props and betting picks we like for today’s late slate.

NFL Picks, Prop Bets for Today’s Late Slate

Jeremiyah Love Over 61.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-113)

Lions vs. Cardinals (4:25 p.m. ET)

Jeremiyah Love Over

Although Jeremiyah Love‘s workload has fluctuated this year, I think the stage is set for him to have a big day in Week 5.

The matchup has a lot to do with it as the Arizona Cardinals-Detroit Lions clash has gobs of shootout potential, with the over/under at 54.5 points. The Lions have been bad on defense this season, allowing the sixth-most yards per play (5.9), and this game being indoors only helps the offensive environment.

Love seemingly had his breakout game in Week 3, playing a season-best 63% of the snaps and handling 21 carries with five targets en route to 109 total yards. He looked lethal and healthy. The Cards then turned around and gave Love 15 touches (14 carries, 1 catch) with a 45% snap rate in Week 4.

Last week’s usage adds some volatility to this bet, but it might have created a good buy-low window heading into a sublime matchup. Plus, Love still ran for 63 yards a week ago, though he finished with -8 receiving yards.

With game-breaking ability on the ground and as a pass-catcher, Love can clear this line against one of the NFL’s worst defenses.

Trey McBride to Score a TD (+115)

Lions vs. Cardinals (4:25 p.m. ET)

Any Time Touchdown Scorer

Trey McBride is my favorite touchdown target from Sunday's highest-profile offensive environment.

McBride has scored twice through four games while establishing himself as the clear focal point of the Cards‘ passing game. He's hauled in 33 of 46 targets for 242 yards, and his 11.5 targets per game demonstrate just how heavily involved he is in the Cardinals' offense.

His involvement around the goal line is particularly encouraging. McBride has posted at least a 30% target share in three of Arizona's four games, and Week 4 was his first outing of the season without multiple red-zone targets.

Now he draws an outstanding matchup with the Lions.

The Lions have struggled badly against opposing passing attacks, surrendering 304.0 passing yards per game, and their issues covering tight ends have been particularly notable. Detroit has also allowed opponents to turn 82.4% of their red-zone trips into touchdowns.

McBride scored in each of his first two games this season before going without a touchdown in his last two. With his elite target volume and a favorable matchup in a game carrying a total of 54.5 points, this looks like an excellent rebound spot.

49ers +3.0 (-110)

49ers vs. Seahawks (4:25 p.m. ET)

Spread

San Francisco 49ers
Oct 11 8:26pm UTCMore odds in Sportsbook

The San Francisco 49ers enter Week 5 at 4-0, and their start has been backed up by some excellent underlying numbers. San Francisco ranks first in the NFL in EPA per play while generating a 53.1% offensive success rate through four games. Defensively, the Niners have permitted an explosive play on only 2.7% of snaps, the lowest rate in football.

Obviously, the Seattle Seahawks deserve plenty of respect. The Seahawks are 3-1, have allowed only 18.3 points per game, and have surrendered just 4.0 yards per play. They're also holding opposing passing attacks to 4.3 net yards per attempt.

That's why I don't necessarily want to pick a San Francisco outright win. Seattle's defense is good enough to make life difficult on Brock Purdyand company, particularly at Lumen Field. But getting a full three points with an undefeated team that has played at an elite level on both sides of the ball is appealing.

San Francisco does have some noteworthy injuries, per usual, with Nick Bosa and Kyle Juszczyk expected to miss the game. Still, the 49ers have covered in three of four games, and I think this matchup is close enough that taking the Niners +3.0 is how I’m approaching it.
