Kristaps Porzingis (calf) expected to play Game 1 for Celtics
Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (calf) is expected to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
What It Means
According to Charania, Porzingis is ready to return after completing multiple scrimmages in recent days. He hasn't played since April 29, so the Celtics could limit Porzingis' minutes in his first game back.
