Boston Red Sox infielder Rafael Devers (knee) will start at designated hitter and bat second on Wednesday against right-hander Carlos Carrasco and the Cleveland Guardians.

Devers will return from a five-game absence due to a bone bruise on his left knee. He also recently missed four games with a shoulder issue. Tyler O'Neill will shift to left field and Wilyer Abreu will hop over to the other corner on Wednesday. Rob Refsnyder will take a seat after starting the last four games.
