Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Triston McKenzie and the Cleveland Guardians.
What It Means
Haniger will sit for the second time in three games after he went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a strikeout in Sunday's series finale against the Texas Rangers. Mitch Garver will replace Haniger at designated hitter and bat seventh. Luke Raley and Dominic Canzone will start in the outfield corners again for the Mariners.
