Kris Bryant taking seat Thursday for Colorado
Colorado Rockies infielder/outfielder Kris Bryant is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Joey Estes and the Oakland Athletics.
What It Means
Bryant went 1-for-8 with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts across two games after being activated from the injured list on Tuesday. He will sit for Thursday's day game and Elehuris Montero will take over on first base. Montero will also replace Elias Diaz as the cleanup hitter.
numberFire's models project Montero for 8.7 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies' implied total (3.69) is No. 12 out of 16 active teams in the majors today.
