Astros' Joey Loperfido sitting versus lefty Monday

Loperfido has been solid since making his Majors debut earlier this season, but still hasn't been getting consistent playing time and has been sitting against left-handed pitchers so far. In his 43 plate appearances, he's hitting for a .333 average with 1 homer, 4 runs, 5 RBI and a stolen base. He'll be replaced by Mauricio Dubon in the Astros' lineup tonight with lefty Reid Detmers on the mound for Los Angeles.
