Pirates place Joey Bart (thumb) on injured list

The Pirates haven't indicated how long they expect Bart to be out. They called up Grant Koch from the minors to handle the backup job behind Yasmani Grandal. Koch could start in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Detroit Tigers, but Grandal will catch for Jared Jones and bat seventh in Game 1.
