Edward Cabrera Day-to-Day for Miami Marlins With Finger Injury, Expected to Start

Edward Cabrera has had issues with his finger before this season. He was on the 15-day injured list in March and dealt with a blister in April. These recurring problems have not stopped him from starting six games this year.

In those games, Cabrera has pitched 29 1/3 innings with an ERA of 5.52. His next start is expected against the Chicago Cubs at loanDepot Park. Sandy Alcantara and Max Meyer are other pitchers in the Marlins' starting rotation who may see changes if Cabrera's status affects the lineup.
