Adley Rutschman Placed on 10-Day Injured List with Oblique Strain

Adley Rutschman has been dealing with injuries this season. Before the current oblique strain, he had a head injury in May and right hand soreness in April. Despite these setbacks, he managed to play 68 games, hitting .227 with an OPS of .691.

Rutschman has hit 8 home runs and collected 20 RBIs so far. He showed improvement in June, batting .309 with an OPS of .890 over 15 games. His performance away from home has been stronger, with an average of .254 and 6 home runs in 36 games.
