SIXTH GENERATION (8) stepped back up to this grade after winning at Arawa Park in November, and his 3 starts since then at this level have all had merit, including his last start sixth at Ellerslie 17 days ago. A repeat of that effort will take him close to winning this. WINGMAN (7) has also been holding his form this season, and he will find this easier than his last start at Trentham just over 3 weeks ago. This is his pet trip, and he can find some good form again. Each way. FRANK THE TANK (2) finished a game fourth at G3 level at Trentham nearly 8 weeks ago, and he has trialled since then. He has only been lightly tried for a 6-year-old gelding, and if he doesn't need the run, then he can take this out. WIRE ROPE (6) is backing up quickly and has the perfect inside draw. A 7lbs claim will help, and the hat-trick beckons. POUKAWA (13) has been freshened since his Trentham flop. He drops 1f, and is worth another chance in this field.
