PEPPER X (6) started at $2 last time on the back of a win at this track two starts ago but was below his best, finishing seventh over 7f at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. DIANA (4) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 7f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but she cannot be ruled out. WILD SOCKS (9) has not won for a long while. Last raced on April 20 when beaten 5 lengths into fourth at this track over 6f. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot return to winning ways.
