SHIKANIC (1) tackled a much tougher race last time in town and wasn't far away. Boasts a great record this course and distance with four wins and five minors from 10 tries. Expected to bounce back. EXONUMIA (3) speared to the lead from a wide alley before fading right out of it over 6 ½f at Bordertown last time. Will appreciate the firmer footing and capable of sharp improvement. BORN TO SHINE (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth over 5 ½f at Bordertown. First try here and can run a forward race. SUMADARTSON (5) has not won for a long while. Latest was beaten 7 lengths into fifth at this track over 5 ½f after being up on the pace until straightening. Should be thereabouts. LORD MORTON (2) is worth including with repeat of latest.
