The top two picks look like dominating this shallow maiden. NEVER PEGASUS (4) gets the nod after closing well to finish third over a similar trip to this at Murray Bridge on Wednesday. Has placed at three of his five runs and he won't get a better chance than this to break the ice. SHUJINKO (5) brings some decent Victorian form across and is the obvious danger. Very good two back when beaten just over a length over this trip at Coleraine. Nicely drawn and will be hard to hold out against this inferior opposition. HASTA LA OINKERS (2) resumes. Best form comes at or around 1 ¼m so this seems too short, but while fresh he can surprise. ANTONETTE (7) didn't do a bad job on debut two back at Gawler then needed more ground last start when down the track at Penola. This looks a more suitable assignment.
