Very little depth to this maiden so CALM THE PRESS (3) gets his chance at start 15. Was shuffled back to worse than midfield before the turn then got going again to finish a distant third last time out over 5 ?f at Penola. Suited by the longer trip and with luck from the wide gate can finally break through. ANNIE'S CROFT (11) is a first starter from the Paul Preusker yard. Recent Horsham jump-out winner who looks ready to make a bold debut. BALSINO PRINCE (2) finished midfield on debut at Hamilton last start. Will find this a lot easier. ARIZONA WILDFIRE (1) looks to be back in good shape this prep. Fitter so can be competitive again.
