Verdict

KALMANA (2) is yet to be rewarded this prep but continues to produce gutsy performances. Happy to forgive the latest effort after getting badly held up at a crucial stage. Expect more positive tactics this time. POSH DIAMANTE (11) produced strong late splits to break through with at Sale last start. Rises in grade but gets in light. ROYAL SWAY (4) made light work of several of these on the Parks track last time and despite rising in the weights still looks to have further upside. MOSTLY FOR SHOW (1) comes through the same race, where he was doing his best work late to grab fourth. He meets Royal Sway better at the weights and gets his chance to turn the tables. MAKE ME A STAR (13) was dominant two starts back before failing to fire last time. She can be hard to catch, but her best form is good enough to keep her safe.
