AU - Morphettville - Race 7

LOMAX (8) has returned in career-best touch this campaign and relishes the mile. Finds another suitable contest and gets the booking of Newitt. Could land in a tricky spot from the inside draw but watch for Froggy bursting through late on him. JANDAMI (9) progressed nicely second-up when making relatively light work of them on the Parks track. Fitter third-up and gets in light with the 4lbs claim. Can raise the bar again. BRAVE STAR (5) was back to somewhere near his best last start when scoring with a bit in hand at Murray Bridge. Loves getting his toe into it, so will be hoping the rain comes. A SAMURAI MIND (1) doesn't win out of turn and while he was poor last time when sent forward at Caulfield, his prior form stacks right up. Drawn cosy on the inside and gets in well at the weights with the 7lbs claimer engaged. Not underestimating. WILLYBEAFACTOR (4) was a deserved winner last time and rarely finishes too far away. Tougher here but he could fill a minor spot.
