Verdict

SHYSTAR (1) went far too fast for her own good last start but showed plenty of grit to cling on for third. Back to 6f now and if she can settle more comfortably, she'll take plenty of catching. SHOCAP (8) has been racing against handy opposition this prep and is going better than her form suggests. This is an easier assignment and her best ratings measure up strongly. GOLDEN HORIZON (2) has worked home solidly into midfield finishes in both runs back and should be nearing peak fitness now. WIND RUSH (6) was good two starts back on the Parks track when narrowly beaten, before disappointing as favourite last time. Debuts the blinkers to sharpen him up. Not to be underestimated. EMPIRE GRACE (9) weaved through nicely late for a midfield finish after turning a long way off them. She'll improve from that, though the wide draw makes the task tougher again. Watch for her late.
