AU - Morphettville - Race 5

BIG MAV (4) has contested two BM56 races over 6f at Strathalbyn since resuming, winning the most recent by a narrow margin after travelling behind the leading pair. Goes up a level today but the blinkers back on might bring out further improvement so stick with him. ACCUSER (1) was backed from $6.50 into $3.90 on debut three weeks ago and justified the support by recording a gutsy all-the-way win over 5 ½f at Hamilton. Takes on a far better race today but should improve off that run and play a key role. COPPER BULLET (5) came from near last to record a barnstorming win when fresh from a four-month spell over this trip at Balaklava recently. Always gets back so needs a bit of luck but cannot be ruled out. MESROUR (6) caught the eye when fresh from a spell over 5 ½f at Murray Bridge last start, getting up for third after spotting the leaders a decent start on straightening. This looks a nice second-up assignment. EXTRA FLING (3) failed at $1.55 when resuming but can improve.
