Finals Day kicks off with the smallest field of the day but also one of the most competitive. Several smart types, including BOOTLEGGER (1) who won well a fortnight ago. He's third-up now and should be at peak fitness. He draws perfectly and should get every chance with the right run. The horse he edged out last start, Victorian raider WHISKEY JOE (3), must also be a strong winning chance. He's untapped and only lines up for his third start here. Pannell goes on and he's got tactical speed so expect to see him in the first half of the field. He can give a sight. HARMONIC DANCER (7) bolted in to break his maiden last time. This is much stronger but he looks well above average. GRINZINGER CHAMP (4) hasn't done much wrong recently and is an each-way chance again, while SKADOOSH (8) brings winning form and looks a top-three chance as well.
