Verdict

ALBERTVILLE (5) resumes for his second preparation having promised plenty last time in, winning two in a row as favourite before perhaps needing a break when beaten as an even money chance in Adelaide. Jamie Melham has travelled to ride him in the past and does so again here which is worth noting. He can improve again this preparation and add to his record. PACIFIC GLAMOUR (11) is the danger. The fresh win on wet ground was dominant before a solid effort at Cranbourne in a 4 ¾f dash. The tempo of this should suit better and she gets 12lbs off the favourite. YOLO (9) resumes having won impressively first up at Pakenham last time in. He can mix his form but the ability is there. CONDOR (2) tried hard last time and will give a sight again, he's next best from MIDNIGHT DEVIL (4).
