Verdict

Tricky little race but siding with the upside of A LONG STORY SHORT (5) for the Mick Kent yard. He broke through for a dominant maiden win here last time out over a mile and looks ideally suited stepping up to 1 ¼m now. This is a step up but he should go on with it. GOVERNOR KING (3) broke through for a smart win here last time out in similar company. He'd just been battling prior but should take holding out again. OMAMORI (2) is racing consistently without winning, contesting some stronger races in town of late. He should be in the mix again. FYRELINE (6) was okay at Cranbourne back in trip last time and up in trip now should suit nicely.
