Verdict

INVICTO (9) was well beaten first up at Caulfield in a 2yo handicap but was rated an each-way hope there and should find this easier having shown good ability the preparation prior. Needs to show something now but can do much better. FARSIDE (1) resumes. He mixed his form in four runs this time in but the effort here was very good and he should take catching. WHIMSY SMILE (13) had jumped out well leading into a solid run here first up, boxing on for third. Fitter for that and should be right there. MISTY WHISPER (3) has been good in two runs to date and can run well first up off a short break with form stacking up behind him.
