BEAST FIGHTER (1) is a gelding by Nicconi on debut for the Hayes yard. Two jumpouts leading in have looked good and he gets favours from the inside gate. With the main danger coming out, he can take beating. CLEVOR TREVER (3) has just found one better in both runs to date, well backed behind Asakura at Terang last time. That horse has gone on and won impressively since, expect he goes close again. ZEPHYR SONG (12) stuck on well on debut at Sandown Hillside and can only improve off that. Drawn well, he'll be in this for a long way. WASHINGTON LILAC (11) resumes with a nice profile and can run well.
