PHANTOM'S CHASE (2) was beaten at $2.10 when last seen at Ararat having led the way early, fading to finish sixth but looks to have found a very thin race here. Two runner-up efforts prior read well and he should be better for the run at this trip now. He'll do no work from the gate and can break through. IDLING BEHIND (8) has some upside at just her fifth start. She was much better out to this trip in the same Ararat maiden and has to be a huge chance now she's found her range. It'd be surprising if the winner came from outside of those two, however RING THE SHERIFF (3) has some claims off a much better run at Kyneton third up. This trip suits now. IMMORTAL DIVA (9) and SARDIUS (4) could fill the first four spot.
