LEFT HOOK (9) missed the placings two runs back then got a long way back last start when 7 lengths away in ninth over 1m at Cranbourne. Won't find this as tough so he is sure to be prominent, so long as he gets a good run from the tricky draw. MAHMUDAH (6) returned to something like her best last start, which was here and made it two minor placings from as many starts at this track. Has to be respected on that fact alone. MONSUN'S PRIDE (4) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a spell, the latest when fourth over 1m at this track after he was prominent at the bend. Will strip fitter and is expected to feature in the finish. OLYMPIAD (1) looks a progressive stayer who comes here off two handy trials and might show up fresh.
