Verdict

Great race for the fillies. The market hasn't exactly missed OVER EXCITED (14), a well-bred filly who ripped home in fast time on debut at Geelong, the sectionals there suggesting she was right up to stakes grade. She'll have to improve but profiles to do so and should be sweeping down the outside again. G1 Blue Diamond winner STREISAND (1) resumes. She hardly put a foot wrong in her 2yo season, very brave behind Guest House in the G1 Golden Slipper before an even effort in the Sires. Has the full penalty and bigger targets in the Spring but can win. SCINTILLATION (7) was game chasing Natural Fling last time who ran well in the G1 Moir against the older horses. She gets a nice run here and looks a big price. SATONO GLOW (2) resumes. She won very well here in the Autumn and looks a filly with some substance who will be charging home. I AM ARIA (10) boasts a 3rd to Streisand and did what she needed to do when winning the maiden fresh.
