Verdict

Quite a few of these come through the Quezette Stakes and of those, the leaning is clearly to MY GLADIOLA (2) who settled at the rear and ripped home off a solid tempo to be beaten a long neck. She's won a trial over 4f since that run in a clear sign of intent and drawn the widest here could well be beneficial without having to get as far back down the straight. INKARUNA (4) resumes having won the Chairman's Stakes on debut in Melbourne before two good efforts behind top filly Tempted in Sydney. That form should hold up well and Shinn booked is a good lead. PALM ANGEL (1) resumes. She mixed her two-year-old form but did beat My Gladiola in the Blue Diamond Prelude before struggling in the Diamond itself. McDonald booked, watch the market. Respecting STEEL TRAP (5) with the Legacy Bound form last preparation, so too AKAYSHA (14) who did nice things in three runs last time in.
