ALIEN ANGEL (9) looks the one to beat first up from a spell. She was well backed on debut in February at Sale, sent out a $2.10 favourite when working home into third. She should have improved off that and looks to have trialled very well in readiness. MARINE GRADE (4) resumes having shown some ability in four runs to date. The debut over 6f at Pakenham was sound for this and he's had a few jumpouts to prepare off the long break. Watch the late betting. DIAMOND MILA (1) put in a career-best last time at Moe when beaten under a length. He should get a nice run here and has race fitness on his side. NIGHT GUARD (5) has been fair in two runs back but can improve again and take some holding out.
