Verdict

SILVALOA (5) will find this much easier than the Canberra Guineas, where he was never a factor. The second placing the run prior is a better guide to his chances here and he draws to advantage. LOUIS BARTHAS (2) rises from maiden grade, but he probably spent a bit more time in that class than connections expected and has the talent to step straight up here. DANCING DOLLY (7) found winning ways last prep and while she'll be better for this outing, she has placed in four of five fresh runs. EASY DUN (1) will be better over further than this, but is a first-up winner and has also won here before, so it looks a suitable fresh option.
