Verdict

HARRUMPH HARRUMPH (4) resumes and is a progressive galloper well-placed to be winning. Led them up as favourite in Stakes grade in Adelaide when last seen before giving it away late, and he'd come off a big 64 win on the Lakeside. Goes fresh and Williams sticks from a winning jumpout at Cranbourne. Uses the low gate and will be naturally improved. OVERACTIVE (6) has had two starts back in better class and should be ready to fire. Comes back 1f and Shinn is engaged for the first time. He will likely position forward and get every chance. GOLD MEDALLIST (14) seeks the hat-trick for a smart stable. Did it comfortably here last time, heavily supported and the hat-trick isn't out of the question. ROCK THEM JOOLS (16) won his Maiden on the Sandown-Hillside as expected and won't have to improve much to make the finish. Jamie Melham takes over today, replacing Ben.
