Verdict

STEADFAST (2) has put in solid runs from midfield to place in both starts after a spell, both at 1m with a 6f trail in between. Trip to Riccarton for latest could be of benefit too. Take beating here. JOAN'S JOKER (1) had a nice trailing run close to the speed but was held up on the run before running on strongly on the inner for a close 2nd last time. Tougher draw here but form should stack up from that solid race. CHELSEA ROSE (9) didn't fire up as usual first-up at Waverley but up to this trip she stayed handy on a genuine tempo and fought hard for 3rd here last start. Include. CRAFTSMAN (8) ran home strongly from the tail for 3rd over this trip at Woodville two back but disappointed last time out. Place claims on best form. FASHION SAVVY (5) freshened up before running on late for a 2.3L 7th over 7f then charged home wide to score over 1 m last time. Beaten 3l 5th only start over the distance range when held up back in March 2025. Don't dismiss.
