DESERT ORA (9) brings the strongest overall profile, resuming from a Belmont campaign in which she was close up in NMW1Y and Open company despite wide and interrupted runs. Her record with Natasha Faithfull is excellent and she's unbeaten from two starts at this track. Can bounce back to winning ways. MEAT PIE ARTIE (6) is the danger on winning form, having closed last campaign with decisive Esperance victories in CL5 and BM58+ grade, both as favourite, and his 12-month record is hard to ignore. ORACLE SON (8) is fitter third-up after winning first-up at Geraldton then running on for fourth behind Divine Inanna, so he appeals as a genuine finishing chance. FLICK THE SWITCH (7) hasn't won for a while, though she continued to knock on the door last campaign. Track and trip record is great though and she can land the knockout blow. HEAD'EM (3) has a solid fresh record and is not to be discounted.
