BEAUMONT MISS (7) has the most appealing recent profile, having followed a Geraldton Mdn win over Black Irish with a sound third in a CL1 at Belmont, beaten just under three lengths. She comes back from mid-week company to an easier assignment and is the one to beat. HEY TRUE BLUE (3) is the clear danger: his Ascot sixth in 1MW company reads better with the steadied-at-5f note, and his earlier Kalgoorlie fourth in CL2 grade was close enough to keep him right in this. APPARATUS (6) gets significant weight relief after a slow-starting fifth at York, and his wet-track record gives him a genuine place-to-winning platform if he uses the 7 ½f more effectively second-up. WARRALEA LASS (1) was plain in BM66+ grade at Belmont, but her previous third at that level, proven track-and-trip credentials and recent Albany trial keep her in calculations despite the top weight. BONDI EXPRESS (5) can fire a shot first-up with two trials under his belt.
