UNFORTUNATE LAD (4) missed by 1.5L at Mt Barker last start when closing nicely from a midfield position. The step out to 6f looks ideal for him now and he maps beautifully for Turner. Plenty in his favour here with improvement to come, and he can shed the maiden tag. CASSENITE (8) will find this a little easier than what she's been tackling in town. She's been back to the trial since her last run to get her ticket back and the booking of Faithfull is a good push for her chances. Can make her presence felt. HEAPS TRUE AYE (15) hasn't trialled since June last year and has been switched to the Rogers camp in that time. She must've had an issue in that time, but she showed good ability in her two trials last year and she can feature in this suitable race if right. COSMIC WALTZ (5) just missed last start and Mt Barker and can win if he can negotiate the tricky draw. REGGIO CALABRIA (1) pulled up with an issue last start and can put his best foot forward.
