CONDONE (1) started a solid fav last start when back in grade and anchored with the 138lbs for a close-up fifth over 6 ?f at Muswellbrook. Has a wide gate to deal with again and the cross-over nose band goes on. Leading contender if he gets luck in the run. WAEREA (6) improving three-year-old gelded over the break. Came to the end of his prep when he shouldered the 131lbs for a plugging fifth over 7f at Kembla Grange last March. Primed with the two trials and senior rider hops aboard. Respect. TIGRONI (13) rewarded for her consistency at start seven with a dominant on-pace win as fav over 5 ½f at Gosford in the heavy (10) going. Zac Lloyd sticks and will have little trouble running a strong 6f. MERCANTILIST (17) resumes from a lengthy break. Showed enough in her first prep with the debut win at Gosford. Wasn't asked to do much in her two trials and not to be overlooked.
