WOOTTON LASS (3) returns from a five-month spell and is a new arrival in the Archibald stable. Both runs last prep were in the Princess Series and she was outclassed. Her last run away from Group 2 company was an all-the-way win at the Kensington track last March. Recent trial winner who is perfectly placed to score first-up. ZALE (1) won two in a row in the country before getting a stitch chasing Watson at Canterbury last start. Better placed this time so a return to form looks on the cards. SHOW BUSINESS (5) has been freshened up since making ground to finish fourth over 6f here seven weeks ago. Needs luck from the wide gate but if all goes well she should be competitive. APOLLO RIDGE (4) went to the lead a long way out then tired late over this distance at the Kenso recently. Form prior to that at provincial level was hard to fault so he should bounce back. READY AND LUCKY (9) is one for the exotics first-up from a 15-week spell.
