MYRIAD (10) came back from a seven-month spell with a dominant maiden win over 5f at Port Macquarie a fortnight ago. Faces a far tougher assignment this time but drops 4.5kgs with the claim and draws the fence to offset. Lightly raced and can go to this next level. COLUMBIA BLUE (2) is back from a 24-week spell. Raced just three times in the maiden campaign and was in the money on each occasion. Best effort was his last run when runner-up over 5f at the Kensington track where he led for the judge. Two recent trials will have him ready to run well. ETOILE FILANTE (3) has worked home well without threatening in two runs this prep for the new stable. Returned a big figure third-up last prep when edged out at Cranbourne. Ready to find peak form. PRIZE WRITER (7) started favourite and fell in on debut at Gosford recently. Should benefit greatly from that run and improve into this. The ultra consistent HARLEX (1) is first-up after a 130-day spell. Always a threat.
