AU - Wyong - Race 3

PURPLE ROSE (3) led all the way and gave nothing else a chance when resuming over 6 ½f at Canberra last start. The trial form leading up to that win was faultless so it came as no surprise. Won't find too many weaker Class 1 races so she is a big chance to go back-to-back. LIAMENA AVENUE (2) went to the front and defied all challengers to collect his maiden win over 6f at Queanbeyan a fortnight ago. Won't have any trouble with the extra trip and with the confidence up he is expected to run well. LAST DRUID (1) brings the genuine provincial form to the table, his latest offering a game second in a similar race here just ten days ago. Sure to give a good account. KERMALICIOUS (7) won a lowly maiden at Wauchope last time out when lining up for the 15th time. Hard to see her winning this but in a race with little depth she is one for the exotics. CARBROOK (6) has a terrible strike rate but is another worth including in trifectas and first fours.
