Saluted at Gosford two-back, then slow into stride and struck trouble in the straight with a slashing third over 7f at Hawkesbury. Gets the right run today and will take holding out. THE WARRIOR (6) failed to keep up early when resuming before attacking the line with a respectable third over 4 ½f at Scone. Comes to hand quickly and gets in light with the claim. Genuine contender. GRAVEL ROAD (1) holding his form with the big weights and gets the services of Zac Lloyd today. Anchored with the 134lbs for a courageous third over 6 ½f at Scone. Can hold a forward position and surprise some of his more fancied rivals. IRON FURY (2) indicated a win was imminent when he gripped on in the heavy conditions to secure second in the small field over 6f at Gosford. Sticky gate but race fitness should take him along way.
