ROY KELTON (2) makes strong appeal after breaking through at Canberra, where he beat Mr Tucci by just over four lengths and did it despite again being slow to begin. He is still lightly raced, reaches his third run of the campaign and keeps Nick Heywood. The rise to 1m is the main new question rather than a reason to oppose him. SUNROE (5) has the deeper winning record at this sort of trip and his Wagga Riverside win over Cinephile reads well, even if he lacked a finishing punch in BM58 company at this track last start. Expected to bounce back. PASSING THROUGH (9) is also third-up and was a Class 1 fourth at Cootamundra after winning a Mdn at Gundagai, which gives her a genuine each-way case if she can hold her form. CINEPHILE (12) was safely held at Wodonga, but his close second to Sunroe two starts back and good record at this track keep him in the mix as a place-leaning danger.
