Verdict

SPREAD THE LOVE (3) didn't have much luck when resuming behind a smart one at Canberra but did warm nicely late. Is sure to have come on from that and keeps hot-hand hoop in Boudvillain. With even luck this time he will take plenty of stopping. ANCHO (2) worked home strongly in wet conditions at Albury to arrive just in time to score first-up. Better for that and will appreciate the rise in trip. UNDERCUT (9) had the better of STL last start here and isn't penalised at the weights. Is rock-hard fit and deserves obvious consideration. STAR EMPIRE (8) progressed nicely second-up when leading them up at the Sapphire Coast and battling on into third. Is open to further improvement and is drawn favourably. Worth some thought.
