CANNY HELL (3) returns for the Davison camp off the back of a dominant trial win on his home track. Hasn't won for a little while now but certainly doesn't lack any ability and has tackled some tough races. Finds a nice race to kick things off on a winning note. BRENLYN'S LEGACY (4) had excuses first up when poor to recover. Has trialled sharply since and is unbeaten on this track. Expecting a much better showing second up. STRUGGLE STREET (9) bounced straight to the front and kept finding when challenged to win by a long neck at Moe last start. Will look to rinse and repeat. LAUREL HILL (1) boasts a fitness edge and has produced strong efforts this prep, including a win at Canterbury back in May. Will likely settle back from her draw and be charging hard late. RUBI AIR (6) gets in light at the weights with the sharp rise in grade. Draws to stalk the early speed and should give backers a look.
