ELSISI (7) ticks a few boxes today third-up from the good draw. Sharp rise in trip with a battling eighth over 7f at Corowa. Down in the weights and the winkers go on from the low gate. Leading player. ROCKABYE ROXY (8) strengthened over the break with a fast finishing second over 6f at the Sapphire Coast. Can go on with now and will be strong late. MAGNUS MAXIMUS (1) three runs in have been encouraging and should have little trouble stretching out to the 7f. Failed to give up when a tough third over 6f at Swan Hill. Finds a winnable race and sure to be thereabouts. MANZOBEEL (12) comes back in trip and due for a change of luck. Caught on a limb with a gritty second over 1m at this track. Ugly map again and don't dismiss.
