AMALFI AMORE (4) closed off strongly last start to get up for third over 1 ?m at Port Macquarie. Will measure up again and can go a couple better. DAMASCUS GATE (5) turned in a strong run two starts ago at this track then wasn't far away in fifth last time. Coming back in trip suits so can do much better. MELATEN (6) stuck on well last start to finish third over 7f at Coffs Harbour after showing good early speed. Suitably placed so anticipating he can make his presence felt again. PRINCE IS GAME (9) got too far back fresh but was okay late. Better for the hitout and is drawn kinder. Worth including.
