Has a good record here and proven in the heavy conditions. TOO DARN FINESSE (12) improving filly who can go quickly through her grades this time in. Indicated a win was imminent when she closed late for a narrow second over 5 ½f at Scone. Can overcome the wide gate and figure prominently. SMASHING NOVA (9) handy gelding who got off the mark first-up with a gritty victory over 6f at Port Macquarie. Winning apprentice sticks and must be kept safe now the penny has dropped. The chances don't end there. HIGHLY TEMPTED (1) eased back early first-up and never got into the contest with a battling eighth over 6f at Port Macquarie. Proven second-up and both wins have been on heavy tracks. Respect.
